We Are MARSHALL and DREAMGIRLS

Hi readers,

Happy holidays!!!! This is the best Christmas when the movies were the best! We are Marshall, I cried the entire time. This was the best movie. It warrants all the accolades. I feel that Matthew McConahey and Matthew Fox were superb. This movie let the emotions flow. Loved it!!!
Dreamgirls was another fabulous movie. I saw this one and thought that Jennifer Hudson carried the day and the movie. This was loosely based on the Supremes whatever Diana Ross might say.
Well that's all from here.

Charlotte's Web and Pursuit of Happyness

Hello holiday readers!

well, I saw Charlotte's web, and it was cute, and sad. I cried, If you have never read this children's classic crawl out from under the cave and read it. I always cry at the end... I liked the use of live animals to tell the story of Wilbur. Fern was super cute played by Dakota Fanning. She is very mature. More mature than me, I am sure of.
I also saw Will Smith and Jaden Smith work together, it was a heartfelt movie abiut opportunity and busting butt to have anything in this life. We'll see what the academy says about this film and the acting.
My votes for Oscar

The Queen- Helen Mirren
Blood Diamond- Leonardo Dicaprio
Dream Girls- Eddie Murphy

that's it so far. I have to see King of Scotland, and some other movies at the independent theatre.

Blood Diamond, The Holiday

Hello Readers,

Saw Blood Diamond, and being the movie whore that I am, I filled out all the Nielsen ratings... It was a sad movie. First, Africa is in so much trouble, and the U.S. media tells us nothing about the crises that are there on that continent. So this movie sheds light on the diamond mines and how apathetic the world is... I loved Leonardo's performance, I really want him to be nominated for something. I reccommend this movie to anyone!
I also saw the Holiday. It was great because I needed something light to counteract the truth of Blood Diamond. The Holiday has a great cast, and at some point I could relate to both characters. Cameron sleeps with the new guy the first night...yeah... and the movies that Kate rents, uh connection... and the man that Cameron hooks it up with dad, two daughters. And, Jack Black... This isn't a library... cuz he was too loud:) Anyway, see it, it was cute.

De Ja Vu, The Fountain, and Happy Feet

Well, unfortunately, both of these movies could have been better. First, De Ja Vu, the premise was great, this group of FBI agents discover a way to view the actual past, as it is occuring. They send Denzel back in time to solve the murder... However, the writer's kindof screwed up the whole space time continum thing, by having the future be altered, and he never went there. It needed to show him going back a few times and screwing up, then finally getting it right.

The Fountain was just falsely advertised, there was no magic serum that kept them alive for centuries as the trailer suggests, it was just a fictional story and a current story being told at the same time... all the while there is a weird subconscious higher self thing going on. It was weird, but not space time continum, as I thought. So with those both kind of disappointing, we go into Christmas with dim hopes for Oscar.

Oh lastly, I saw Happy Feet. It was cute. It had amazing animation, and a cute story line. I can see thatthis might take home an Oscar... I also thought it was age appropriate and showed today's culture.

Well, that's all from here. We'll see you at the movies.
